Artist Incentive Guidelines
Purpose of the Program:
The purpose of the ArtsLink Neighborhood Arts Partnership Program is to link arts with the community. Non-profit organizations such as community centers, schools, family centers, church groups, and other agencies can apply for funding for an artist-in-residency. The artist or arts group will develop an arts education partnership project with the agency that addresses issues related to strengthening families and neighborhoods.
Location of the Project:
All projects must take place in the Louisville/Jefferson County Metropolitan area.
Funding Cycle: (Spring)
The next funding cycle begins in the spring of 2008. Applications will be made available October 15, 2007 Completed applications are due and must be postmarked by April 30, 2008.
What Arts Council of Louisville, Inc. Funds:
Arts Council of Louisville funds projects that focus on building relationships and strengthening families and neighborhoods. Commercial arts projects are not eligible for funding.
Range of Funding:
Funding of projects could range up to $500 depending on the scope of the project and availability of funds.
Proposal Review:
The Arts Advisory Network, an arm appointed by the Arts Council of Louisville, Inc. Board of Directors that meets annually to review project requests and to make proposals to the council, reviews Grant proposals.
